This program offers water districts and authorities the opportunity to combine
their purchasing power to obtain health services, insurance coverages, administrative
services, and access to managed care facilities. This enables districts and
authorities to purchase health care benefits for their employees at an affordable
cost. Under this flexible program, members can take advantage of a "standard"
benefit schedule or design their own coverage based on individual needs. Benefit
schedules promote the use of local community providers and managed care arrangements.
In addition to group medical, the Fund offers the
following plans and coverages to complete an available benefits package for
participating member employees and their dependents: dental, vision, prescription
drug card, employee group life and AD&D, dependent life and AD&D, voluntary
AD&D for employees and dependents, lifestyle/wellness, COBRA administration,
and Section 125 cafeteria plan administration.
