Approach to Coverage

The Fund provides four basic types of coverage: workers' compensation, liability, property, and group benefits. Within the liability and property programs, the Fund offers various lines of coverage.  The Fund's coverages are designed to meet the vast majority of districts' and authorities' insurance needs.  Coverages not provided by the Fund can be placed through the Fund with various insurance carriers.  This enables members to obtain all necessary coverages by contacting the Fund.

Approach to Services

The TWCA Risk Management Fund was created to meet the risk management and insurance needs of Texas water districts and authorities.  In fulfilling this mission, the Fund has evolved as a partner with its members in reducing risks and exposures inherent in their operations.  As a member owned and governed program, the Fund is uniquely positioned to understand and respond to changes in the operating environment of Texas water districts and authorities.  This allows the Fund to respond to new issues quickly and to assist its members as they develop and enhance their own risk management and safety practices.
