INTRODUCTION TO
ONLINE RENEWALS
The TWCA Risk Management Fund has implemented a new online renewal program for the 2008-2009 Fund year. This program allows members to complete the necessary schedules and supply other essential information related to their workers’ compensation, liability, and property coverages from a personal computer. This process was used on a trial basis last year for the 2007-2008 renewals, and it is now available through the Fund’s web site for general use by all members during the 2008-2009 renewal process.
The online renewal program is available to members’ underwriting contacts through the “Online Services” link on the Fund’s web site. Your user ID and password for “Online Services” also allows you to access the online renewal program. This new link is labeled “Online Renewal Update.” Detailed instructions are provided on the renewal pages.
Online renewal simplifies the process for updating and providing the additional information needed for members’ coverages. For many of the items, data from last year’s forms are included, so it is only necessary to update the items that have changed. Online renewal makes it easier for members to complete the forms, and it also reduces paperwork and processing time.
The Fund Administrator solicits your feedback on this new renewal system and suggestions for ways to improve it. As always, the Fund wants to provide members the best alternatives for use of Internet technology as well as person-to-person service.
