INTRODUCTION TO

ONLINE SAFETY TRAINING

The TWCA Risk Management Fund is pleased to announce a new online safety training program that is available through the Fund’s web site.  Employees of water districts and authorities that are members of the Fund can access training on a variety of safety topics from a personal computer.  Twenty different courses are available.  Each course is highly interactive, and users can track their own progress through the training as well as print certificates of completion.

Training Topics
Examples of courses that will be available include:

  • Back injury prevention
  • Confined space entry
  • Driving safety
  • Excavation and trenching
  • Electrical safety
  • Fire prevention
  • Hazard communication
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Slips, trips, and falls
  • And more . . . .

This new online training resource is being provided as an addition to the other training courses conducted by the Fund’s professional safety consultants.  The Fund will also continue to maintain the library of videos (DVDs and videocassettes) that can be checked out for use by members.

How it Works

Each water district or authority is assigned an account code to access the online training.  Employees will need to register individually.  They will enter their district/authority account code on the registration page and set up a username and password.  After registering, employees can then log on to individual courses using their username and password.

The following link will take you to online training, or you can use the link on the home page:
