The Fund is governed by an eleven-member Board of Trustees elected by the Fund membership. Each trustee must also be an employee of a member.
Trustees serve overlapping three-year terms, with one-third of the members’ terms expiring at the end of each calendar year. Annual Board elections are conducted at the beginning of each calendar year and election results are confirmed at the Annual Meeting held in association with the TWCA Annual Conference. Members are notified of the election schedule in advance, and have the opportunity to nominate one or more candidates as well as cast ballots as part of the election process.
The Board meets four times per year and makes all major policy decisions.See Board of Trustees
